Electric current aur circuit

Electric current is the rate of flow of charge. A continuous, closed path for current is an electric circuit; a switch makes the path complete. In metal wires the charge carriers are electrons, but by convention the current direction is opposite to the flow of electrons (from + to −). Electric current charge ke flow ki rate hai. Current ke liye lagataar band raasta electric circuit hai; switch raasta poora karta hai.

One coulomb is the charge of nearly 6 × 10¹⁸ electrons (electron charge = 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C). Small currents are in mA (10⁻³ A) or µA (10⁻⁶ A). Current is measured by an ammeter, always connected in series. छोटी धाराएँ mA (10⁻³ A) या µA (10⁻⁶ A) में। Ek coulomb lagbhag 6 × 10¹⁸ electrons ka charge hai (electron ka charge = 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C). 11.2Electric potential and potential differenceविद्युत विभव और विभवांतरElectric potential aur potential difference

Charge flows only when there is a difference of electric pressure — a potential difference — along the conductor, just as water flows when there is a height difference. A cell or battery maintains this potential difference using its chemical energy. Charge tabhi behta hai jab conductor ke saath electric pressure ka antar — potential difference — ho, jaise oonchai ke antar se paani behta hai. Series vs parallel at home: in series, if one component fails the whole circuit breaks, and every appliance would get only part of the voltage. In parallel each appliance gets the full voltage, draws the current it needs, and can be switched on and off independently — so domestic wiring is parallel. Ghar mein series vs parallel: series mein ek part kharab ho to poora circuit toot jaata hai, aur har appliance ko voltage ka sirf hissa milta hai. Parallel mein har appliance ko poora voltage milta hai, wo apni zaroorat ka current leta hai, aur alag se on/off ho sakta hai — isliye ghar ki wiring parallel hoti hai.
