Parts and what they mean

• x, y, z axes (right-handed) (x, y, z अक्ष (दक्षिणावर्ती तंत्र)) — z points out of the page, towards you.
• Velocity v along +x (वेग v, +x के अनुदिश) — The particle moves along the positive x-axis.
• Field B along +y (क्षेत्र B, +y के अनुदिश) — Magnetic field parallel to the positive y-axis.
• Force on a proton: +z (प्रोटॉन पर बल: +z) — F = e(v × B), and x̂ × ŷ = ẑ.
• Force on an electron: −z (इलेक्ट्रॉन पर बल: −z) — Charge −e reverses the force.
