Parts and what they mean

• Wire with a semicircular arc above (ऊपर अर्धवृत्ताकार चाप वाला तार) — Current goes left → right; the arc is above the centre.
• Same wire, arc bent the other way (वही तार, चाप दूसरी ओर मुड़ा) — Same magnitude of B, opposite direction.
• Current I = 12 A (धारा I = 12 A) — Flows left to right in both.
• Centre O of the arc (R = 2.0 cm) (चाप का केंद्र O (R = 2.0 cm)) — Straight parts point straight at/away from O: dl × r = 0.
• B into the page (⊗) (B पृष्ठ के अंदर (⊗)) — Seen from here the arc current turns clockwise → B into the page. 1.9 × 10⁻⁴ T.
• B out of the page (⊙) (B पृष्ठ से बाहर (⊙)) — Arc current now turns anticlockwise → B out of the page.
