Parts and what they mean
- Forward curve (अग्र वक्र) — Treated as a straight line between 10 mA and 20 mA to find the resistance there.
- Point (0.7 V, 10 mA) (बिंदु (0.7 V, 10 mA)) — Read from the curve.
- Point (0.8 V, 20 mA) (बिंदु (0.8 V, 20 mA)) — So near ID = 15 mA: rfb = ΔV/ΔI = 0.1 V / 10 mA = 10 Ω.
- Point (−10 V, −1 µA) (बिंदु (−10 V, −1 µA)) — Reverse bias: rrb = 10 V / 1 µA = 1.0 × 10⁷ Ω — about a million times the forward resistance.
- Reverse curve (पश्च वक्र) — Tiny, nearly constant reverse current.
- Axes (अक्ष) — Forward in mA, reverse in µA (different scales).
