Parts and what they mean

• Infinite thin plane sheet, charge σ per m² (अनंत पतली समतल चादर, प्रति m² आवेश σ) — Uniform surface charge density σ (C m⁻²).
• Field E on both sides (दोनों ओर क्षेत्र E) — Normal to the sheet, pointing away on both sides (σ > 0). E = σ/2ε₀, the same at every distance!
• Two flat end faces, area A each (दो चपटे सिरे, प्रत्येक क्षेत्रफल A) — E is along their normals: flux = EA + EA = 2EA.
• Curved surface of the Gaussian cylinder (गाउसीय बेलन का वक्र पृष्ठ) — E is parallel to it, so no flux.
