Parts and what they mean

• Coil C2 (carries a steady current) (कुंडली C2 (स्थायी धारा)) — Acts like a bar magnet: its steady current makes a steady magnetic field.
• Coil C1 (test coil) (कुंडली C1 (परीक्षण कुंडली)) — Current is induced here while C2 moves towards it or away from it.
• Motion of C2 (C2 की गति) — Moving C2 away gives deflection in the opposite direction. Moving C1 instead of C2 gives the same effects.
• Battery (बैटरी) — Keeps a steady current in C2.
• Galvanometer (गैल्वेनोमीटर) — Shows the induced current in C1 (deflects only during relative motion).
