Parts and what they mean
- Outer solenoid S₂ (बाहरी परिनालिका S₂) — Radius r₂, n₂ turns per metre. Its current I₂ makes a uniform field μ₀n₂I₂ inside.
- Inner solenoid S₁ (आंतरिक परिनालिका S₁) — Radius r₁, n₁ turns per metre, N₁ = n₁l turns. Flux linkage N₁Φ₁ = (n₁l)(πr₁²)(μ₀n₂I₂).
- Field inside S₂ (S₂ के अंदर क्षेत्र) — Uniform (edge effects neglected, l ≫ r₂).
- Radius r₁ of S₁ (S₁ की त्रिज्या r₁) — Only the area πr₁² appears in M — the field of S₁ is confined inside S₁.
- Radius r₂ of S₂ (S₂ की त्रिज्या r₂) — Does not appear in M for this arrangement.
- Common length l (उभयनिष्ठ लंबाई l) — Both solenoids have the same length.
