Parts and what they mean
- Coil (inductor L) (कुंडली (प्रेरक L)) — Its own changing current changes its own flux: NΦ = LI, ε = −L dI/dt.
- Current I in the circuit (परिपथ में धारा I) — Same direction in both rows; only whether it is growing or falling differs.
- Self-induced (back) emf (स्वप्रेरित (विरोधी) emf) — (a) I rising → emf acts against I; (b) I falling → emf acts along I, trying to keep it going.
- Inductance is like mass (प्रेरकत्व द्रव्यमान जैसा) — L resists changes of current as mass resists changes of velocity; ½LI² is like ½mv².
