Parts and what they mean
- Field region: B into the page (क्षेत्र: B पृष्ठ के अंदर) — Uniform field normal to the loops, pointing away from the reader (⊗).
- (i) Rectangular loop abcd entering ((i) प्रवेश करता आयताकार लूप abcd) — Flux (into page) increases.
- (i) Induced current along bcdab ((i) प्रेरित धारा bcdab के अनुदिश) — Anticlockwise on the page → its field points out of the page, opposing the increase.
- (ii) Triangular loop abc leaving ((ii) बाहर निकलता त्रिभुजाकार लूप abc) — Flux decreases.
- (ii) Induced current along bacb ((ii) प्रेरित धारा bacb के अनुदिश) — Clockwise → its field points into the page, trying to keep the flux.
- (iii) Irregular loop abcd leaving ((iii) बाहर निकलता अनियमित लूप abcd) — Flux decreases.
- (iii) Induced current along cdabc ((iii) प्रेरित धारा cdabc के अनुदिश) — Clockwise, again opposing the decrease.
- Velocity (i): into the field (वेग (i): क्षेत्र के अंदर) — Current flows only while the loop is partly inside.
- Velocity (ii): out of the field (वेग (ii): क्षेत्र से बाहर) — No current once the loop is fully outside.
- Velocity (iii): out of the field (वेग (iii): क्षेत्र से बाहर) — No current while a loop is completely inside or outside.
