NCERT Fig 6.4 · Class 12 Physics · Chapter 6 · interactive diagram
Parts and what they mean
- Uniform magnetic field lines (एकसमान चुंबकीय क्षेत्र रेखाएँ) — Flux counts how much field passes through the area.
- Magnetic field B (चुंबकीय क्षेत्र B) — Measured in tesla (T).
- Plane surface of area A (क्षेत्रफल A का समतल पृष्ठ) — Drawn edge-on. Only the field component along the normal passes through it.
- Area vector A (क्षेत्रफल सदिश A) — Magnitude = area, direction = normal to the plane.
- Angle θ between B and A (B और A के बीच कोण θ) — Φ = BA cos θ: maximum at θ = 0°, zero at θ = 90°, negative beyond 90°.
