Parts and what they mean
- Uniform B into the page (पृष्ठ के अंदर एकसमान B) — v is perpendicular to B, so the force qvB is perpendicular to v.
- Positive charge +q (धन आवेश +q) — An electron (−e) in the same field would go round clockwise.
- Velocity v (tangent) (वेग v (स्पर्श रेखा पर)) — Its size never changes — the magnetic force does no work.
- Magnetic force = centripetal force (चुंबकीय बल = अभिकेंद्र बल) — qvB = mv²/r always points to the centre.
- Radius r = mv/(qB) (त्रिज्या r = mv/(qB)) — More momentum → bigger circle; stronger B → smaller circle.
- Circular path (वृत्ताकार पथ) — Period T = 2πm/(qB): the same for every speed.
