Parts and what they mean
- Conductor XY carrying current I (धारा I वाला चालक XY) — We find the field of one tiny piece of it.
- Current I (धारा I) — Steady current along the wire.
- Current element dl (धारा अवयव dl) — A tiny length of wire, pointing along the current. I dl is the “source”.
- Displacement r (from dl to P) (विस्थापन r (dl से P तक)) — dB falls as 1/r² — like Coulomb’s law.
- Field point P (क्षेत्र बिंदु P) — Where we want the field.
- dB: into the page (⊗) (dB: पृष्ठ के अंदर (⊗)) — Along dl × r, i.e. perpendicular to the plane containing dl and r.
- Points along the line of dl (dl की रेखा पर बिंदु) — Here θ = 0, sin θ = 0, so dB = 0.
