Parts and what they mean
- Quadrilateral ABCD (चतुर्भुज ABCD) — Its four vertices are stored as the four columns of the matrix X.
- Matrix X of the vertices (शीर्षों का आव्यूह X) — Row 1 = x-coordinates (1, 3, 1, −1), row 2 = y-coordinates (0, 2, 3, 2). Order 2 \times 4.
- x-axis (x-अक्ष) — The horizontal number line; inputs x are read here.
- y-axis (y-अक्ष) — The vertical number line; outputs y = f(x) are read here.
- Origin O(0, 0) (मूल बिंदु O(0, 0)) — Where the two axes cross.
- Vertex A(1, 0) (शीर्ष A(1, 0)) — Becomes the column \begin{bmatrix} 1 \\ 0 \end{bmatrix} of X.
- Vertex B(3, 2) (शीर्ष B(3, 2)) — Becomes the column \begin{bmatrix} 3 \\ 2 \end{bmatrix} of X.
- Vertex C(1, 3) (शीर्ष C(1, 3)) — Becomes the column \begin{bmatrix} 1 \\ 3 \end{bmatrix} of X.
- Vertex D(-1, 2) (शीर्ष D(-1, 2)) — Becomes the column \begin{bmatrix} -1 \\ 2 \end{bmatrix} of X.
