Parts and what they mean
- Boundary line x + y = 60 (सीमा रेखा x + y = 60) — Change "≤" to "=" and draw this line through (60, 0) and (0, 60). It is drawn solid because "≤" includes the line itself.
- Solution half-plane x + y \le 60 (हल अर्धतल x + y \le 60) — The side of the line containing the test point O(0, 0); every point here satisfies the inequality.
- Other half-plane x + y > 60 (दूसरा अर्धतल x + y > 60) — Points here do NOT satisfy x + y ≤ 60.
- Test point O(0, 0) (परीक्षण बिंदु O(0, 0)) — Put x = 0, y = 0: 0 ≤ 60 is TRUE, so shade the side that contains O.
- Point P(50, 40) (बिंदु P(50, 40)) — 50 + 40 = 90 > 60, so P is on the other side — not a solution.
- x-intercept (60, 0) (x-अंतःखंड (60, 0)) — Put y = 0 in x + y = 60: x = 60.
- y-intercept (0, 60) (y-अंतःखंड (0, 60)) — Put x = 0 in x + y = 60: y = 60.
- x-axis (x-अक्ष) — The horizontal number line; inputs x are read here.
- y-axis (y-अक्ष) — The vertical number line; outputs y = f(x) are read here.
- Origin O(0, 0) (मूल बिंदु O(0, 0)) — Where the two axes cross.
