Parts and what they mean
- x-axis (x-अक्ष) — The horizontal number line; inputs x are read here.
- y-axis (y-अक्ष) — The vertical number line; outputs y = f(x) are read here.
- Origin O(0, 0) (मूल बिंदु O(0, 0)) — Where the two axes cross.
- Graph of f(x) = 2x (f(x) = 2x का ग्राफ़) — A straight line through O with slope 2.
- Horizontal line y = 3 (क्षैतिज रेखा y = 3) — Any horizontal line y = k meets this graph exactly once, at x = k/2.
- Meeting point (1.5, 3) (प्रतिच्छेद बिंदु (1.5, 3)) — Only ONE x gives y = 3 (one-one), and some x gives every y (onto R).
