Parts and their functions
- Ancestral marsupial stock (पूर्वज मार्सुपियल (शिशुधानी) स्टॉक) — One ancestral group of pouched mammals in Australia, from which all these different marsupials evolved.
- Tasmanian wolf (तस्मानियन वुल्फ़) — Australian marsupial — hunter (carnivore). Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Tiger cat (टाइगर कैट) — Australian marsupial — small hunter. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Marsupial mole (मार्सुपियल छछूँदर) — Australian marsupial — burrows underground. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Banded anteater (बैंडेड एंटईटर) — Australian marsupial — eats ants, termites. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Marsupial rat (मार्सुपियल चूहा) — Australian marsupial — small, on the ground. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Sugar glider (शुगर ग्लाइडर) — Australian marsupial — glides between trees. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Koala (कोआला) — Australian marsupial — lives on trees. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Kangaroo (कंगारू) — Australian marsupial — hops on grassland. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Wombat (वॉम्बैट) — Australian marsupial — digs burrows. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
- Bandicoot (बैंडिकूट) — Australian marsupial — ground, eats insects. Evolved from the same ancestral stock but adapted to its own habitat.
Steps
- 1 · One ancestral marsupial stock in Australia.
