Parts and what they mean
- Measured points (NCERT Example 2.6) (मापे गए बिंदु (NCERT उदाहरण 2.6)) — c = 0.000198, 0.000309, 0.000521, 0.000989 mol L⁻¹ → Λm = 148.61, 148.29, 147.81, 147.09 S cm² mol⁻¹.
- Straight line: Λm = Λ°m − A√c (सरल रेखा: Λm = Λ°m − A√c) — Slope = −A, so A = 87.46 S cm² mol⁻¹ (mol L⁻¹)⁻½ for KCl (NCERT). All 1-1 electrolytes in water at 298 K share this A.
- Extrapolation to √c = 0 (√c = 0 तक बहिर्वेशन) — The intercept is the limiting molar conductivity: NCERT reads Λ°m = 150.0 S cm² mol⁻¹ from the graph (a calculator best-fit line gives 149.8).
- Axes (अक्ष) — x: c½ in (mol L⁻¹)½; y: Λm in S cm² mol⁻¹ (scale starts at 146.5 to show the small change).
