Parts and their functions
- Birds: 12% threatened (पक्षी: 12% संकट में) — 12 per cent of all bird species face the threat of extinction.
- Mammals: 23% threatened (स्तनधारी: 23% संकट में) — 23 per cent of all mammal species.
- Gymnosperms: 31% threatened (अनावृतबीजी: 31% संकट में) — 31 per cent of all gymnosperm species.

- The Sixth Extinction (छठा विलोपन) — Five mass extinctions happened before humans. The present (sixth) one differs in RATE: 100–1,000 times faster than in pre-human times, and human activities are responsible. Nearly half of all species might be wiped out within the next 100 years if trends continue.
