Parts and their functions
- a–F graph axes (a–F ग्राफ़ के अक्ष) — Mass kept the same, force changed (Activity 6.3: doubling the pulling force doubles the acceleration).
- Straight line through origin (मूल बिंदु से सीधी रेखा) — a is directly proportional to the net force: a ∝ F.
- a–m graph axes (a–m ग्राफ़ के अक्ष) — Force kept the same (10 N), mass changed (Activity 6.4).
- Curve falling with mass (द्रव्यमान के साथ गिरता वक्र) — a is inversely proportional to mass: 10 m/s² at 1 kg, 5 at 2 kg, 2.5 at 4 kg — every point gives m × a = 10 N. Together: a = F/m, i.e. F = ma.
