Parts and their functions

• Amoeba (अमीबा) — Changes shape; moves and feeds with false feet (pseudopodia); heterotrophic.
• Paramecium (पैरामीशियम) — Slipper-shaped, covered with hair-like cilia for swimming; heterotrophic.
• Euglena (यूग्लीना) — Green (chloroplasts) — photosynthesises in light, can feed heterotrophically in dark; whip-like flagellum; red eyespot.
• Unicellular eukaryotes (एककोशिकीय सुकेंद्रकी) — One cell does everything — feeding, moving, excreting, reproducing. Live in water or moist places.
