Parts and their functions
- Equilateral triangle, side 0.5 m (समबाहु त्रिभुज, भुजा 0.5 m) — O (0, 0), A (0.5, 0), B (0.25, 0.25√3) m.
- 100 g at O (O पर 100 g) — x = 0, y = 0.
- 150 g at A (A पर 150 g) — x = 0.5 m, y = 0.
- 200 g at B (B पर 200 g) — x = 0.25 m, y = 0.25√3 m.
- Centroid G (केंद्रक G) — Meeting point of the medians. It is the CM only if all three masses are equal.
- Centre of mass (द्रव्यमान केंद्र) — X = (0 + 75 + 50)/450 = 5/18 m ≈ 0.28 m; Y = (200 × 0.25√3)/450 = √3/9 m ≈ 0.19 m.
