Parts and their functions
- Circular path, radius R (वृत्तीय पथ, त्रिज्या R) — Speed v is constant in uniform circular motion.
- Velocity v (tangent) (वेग v (स्पर्श-रेखीय)) — Always along the tangent, perpendicular to the radius. Its direction keeps changing.
- Centripetal acceleration a_c (अभिकेंद्र त्वरण a_c) — Points to the centre at every instant; magnitude v²/R = ω²R. Not a constant vector.
- Radius CP (त्रिज्या CP) — Turns through Δθ in time Δt.
- Angular displacement Δθ (कोणीय विस्थापन Δθ) — Angular speed ω = Δθ/Δt (rad s⁻¹).
- Arc Δs (चाप Δs) — Δs = R Δθ, so v = Δs/Δt = Rω.
