Parts and their functions

• Steady, streamline flow (अपरिवर्ती धारारेखी प्रवाह) — Ideal fluid: incompressible and non-viscous.
• Wide, low section (चौड़ा, नीचा भाग) — Larger area ⇒ lower speed v₁.
• Narrow, high section (संकरा, ऊँचा भाग) — A₁v₁ = A₂v₂ ⇒ faster here; by Bernoulli the pressure P₂ is lower where the speed is higher.
• Heights h₁, h₂ (ऊँचाइयाँ h₁, h₂) — The ρgh term: energy per unit volume due to height.
