Parts and what they mean
- Circle (वृत्त) — Set of all points in a plane equidistant from a fixed point.
- Centre C(h, k) (केंद्र C(h, k)) — The fixed point — here (2, 2).
- Any point P(x, y) (कोई बिंदु P(x, y)) — CP = r gives √((x − h)² + (y − k)²) = r.
- Radius r (त्रिज्या r) — Constant distance; here r = 2.
- Standard equation (मानक समीकरण) — (x − h)² + (y − k)² = r². General form x² + y² + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0 has centre (−g, −f), r = √(g² + f² − c).
