Parts and their functions

• Burette (ब्यूरेट) — A long graduated tube with a stopcock; delivers any measured volume of liquid drop by drop — used in titration.
• Pipette (पिपेट) — Delivers one fixed volume (e.g. 10 mL or 25 mL) when filled up to the mark.
• Graduated (measuring) cylinder (अंशांकित (मापक) सिलिंडर) — Measures volume roughly; read the bottom of the curved surface (meniscus) at eye level.
• Volumetric flask (आयतनमितीय फ्लास्क) — Holds exactly one volume (e.g. 250 mL, 1 L) up to the mark on its neck — used to make solutions of known molarity.
