Parts and their functions

• Animal cell (प्राणी कोशिका) — Divides by furrowing from outside in.
• Cleavage furrow (विदलन खाँच) — Plasma membrane constricts in the middle and deepens.
• Plant cell (पादप कोशिका) — Divides by cell plate formation from the centre outwards.
• Cell plate (कोशिका पट्टिका) — Precursor of the middle lamella between the two daughter cells.
• Cell wall (कोशिका भित्ति) — Rigid wall — the reason plant cells cannot furrow.
