Parts and what they mean

• Charge q₁ (आवेश q₁) — Brought first from infinity: no work needed (no other charges yet).
• Charge q₂ (आवेश q₂) — Bringing it needs work k q₁q₂/r₁₂ (negative here, since the pair attracts).
• Charge q₃ (आवेश q₃) — Work k q₃(q₁/r₁₃ + q₂/r₂₃) against both earlier charges.
• Distance r₁₂ (दूरी r₁₂) — Between q₁ and q₂.
• Distance r₁₃ (दूरी r₁₃) — Between q₁ and q₃.
• Distance r₂₃ (दूरी r₂₃) — Between q₂ and q₃.
