Parts and what they mean
- Junction (संधि) — A point where wires meet. Charge cannot pile up here in a steady state.
- Currents in (आने वाली धाराएँ) — Sum of currents entering = sum of currents leaving.
- Currents out (जाने वाली धाराएँ) — Equivalently, the algebraic sum of currents at a junction is zero.
- Source of emf (विद्युत वाहक बल का स्रोत) — Raises the potential by ε (going from − to + inside the cell).
- Resistor R₁ (प्रतिरोधक R₁) — Going along the current, the potential drops by IR₁.
- Resistor R₂ (प्रतिरोधक R₂) — Round a closed loop, the rises and drops cancel.
