Parts and what they mean
- x-axis (x-अक्ष) — The horizontal number line; inputs x are read here.
- y-axis (y-अक्ष) — The vertical number line; outputs y = f(x) are read here.
- Origin O(0, 0) (मूल बिंदु O(0, 0)) — Where the two axes cross.
- y = e^x (y = e^x) — Domain \mathbf{R}, range positive reals, always increasing; hugs the x-axis on the left.
- y = \log x (base e) (y = \log x (आधार e)) — Domain positive reals, range \mathbf{R}; hugs the y-axis near 0.
- Line y = x (रेखा y = x) — Fold the paper along it: e^x lands exactly on \log x (they are inverse functions).
- Point (0, 1) (बिंदु (0, 1)) — e^0 = 1: every b^x passes through it.
- Point (1, 0) (बिंदु (1, 0)) — \log 1 = 0: every \log_b x passes through it.
