Parts and their functions

• Parent cell (Amoeba) (जनक कोशिका (अमीबा)) — A single-celled organism ready to divide; first its DNA is copied.
• Nucleus divides (केंद्रक का विभाजन) — The nucleus (with the DNA copies) splits into two.
• Cytoplasm divides (कोशिकाद्रव्य का विभाजन) — The cell pinches in the middle; in Amoeba this can happen in any plane.
• Two daughter cells (दो संतति कोशिकाएँ) — Two new, nearly identical individuals.
