Parts and their functions

• Bar magnet (छड़ चुंबक) — North pole (N) and south pole (S). Like poles repel, unlike poles attract.
• Magnetic field lines (चुंबकीय क्षेत्र रेखाएँ) — Emerge from N and merge at S. Crowded near the poles = stronger field. The tangent gives the direction a compass N-pole points.
• Inside the magnet: S → N (चुंबक के अंदर: S → N) — So every field line is a closed curve. No two lines cross (a compass cannot point two ways).
