Parts and their functions

• The wave (तरंग) — Crests at 0, 4, 8 cm (+3); troughs at 2, 6 cm (−3).
• Wavelength = 4 cm (तरंगदैर्ध्य = 4 cm) — Crest to next crest.
• Amplitude = 3 units (आयाम = 3 इकाई) — Measured from the average line (0) to the crest — not crest to trough.
