Parts and their functions
- Ball as a point (गेंद = एक बिंदु) — In the simple model the ball is a point with mass — its size, colour and stitching do not matter.
- Speed and direction (चाल और दिशा) — How fast and at what angle the ball leaves the bat decides how far it travels.
- Path of the ball (गेंद का पथ) — A curved path — the model predicts where it lands.
- Bat (बल्ला) — Only the hit matters (speed, direction); the bat’s brand is ignored.
- Boundary (सीमा-रेखा) — The question: will the ball cross this line without touching the ground first?
- Keep (रखें) — Mass of the ball, and speed and direction of the hit — they change the answer.
- Ignore (छोड़ें) — Bat brand, ball colour, grass on the field — no effect on the answer.
- Small effects (छोटे प्रभाव) — Air resistance, spin and the seam have smaller effects; a more accurate model adds them back.
