Parts and what they mean
- Set A (समुच्चय A) — Values crowd close to 10 — low dispersion.
- Set B (समुच्चय B) — Values are scattered far from 10 — high dispersion.
- Same mean (समान माध्य) — Both sets have mean 60/6 = 10, so the mean alone cannot tell them apart.
- Range (परिसर) — Range = maximum − minimum: A has 12 − 8 = 4, B has 18 − 2 = 16. Mean deviation and standard deviation measure the spread using every value.
