Parts and what they mean

• Open interval (a, b) (विवृत अंतराल (a, b)) — {x : a < x < b}. Both end points a and b are NOT included (hollow circles).
• Closed interval [a, b] (संवृत अंतराल [a, b]) — {x : a ≤ x ≤ b}. Both end points are included (filled circles).
• Half-open [a, b) (अर्ध-विवृत [a, b)) — {x : a ≤ x < b}. a is included, b is not.
• Half-open (a, b] (अर्ध-विवृत (a, b]) — {x : a < x ≤ b}. a is not included, b is.
