Parts and their functions

• Xylem (जाइलम) — Conducts water and minerals.
• Phloem (फ्लोएम) — Conducts food (photosynthates).
• Cambium (कैंबियम (एधा)) — Present in open bundles of dicot stems; can form secondary xylem and phloem.
• Bundle sheath (बंडल आच्छद) — Sclerenchymatous sheath around monocot stem bundles.
