Parts and their functions

• Lag phase (पश्चता प्रावस्था) — Initial slow growth.
• Log / exponential phase (लघुगणकीय / चरघातांकी प्रावस्था) — Rapid growth; both progeny cells keep dividing.
• Stationary phase (स्थिर प्रावस्था) — Growth slows down with limited nutrient supply.
