Parts and their functions

• P-wave (P-तरंग) — Electrical excitation (depolarisation) of the atria → atrial contraction.
• QRS complex (QRS सम्मिश्र) — Depolarisation of the ventricles; contraction starts shortly after Q.
• T-wave (T-तरंग) — Return of the ventricles to normal (repolarisation); end of T = end of systole.
